MOSTLY CLOUDY AND SEASONABLE AHEAD OF NEXT STORM SYSTEM….
Cloudiness has been the theme today, with only a brief peek of
sunshine at the 10am observation. Ahead of the next storm system,
we have had seasonable temperatures and very light winds.
Temperatures have been a touch below normal today, beginning in the
mid 20s and rising to only the low 30s by early afternoon. The dew point
has remained near 20 throughout the day.
Winds have been very light, especially since 8am. The average so far
is only 5mph, beginning the morning out of the west, and shifting to
out of the east by noontime. The peak gust is only 18mph, occurring
around 1am.
Visibility has not changed much, and has held at about 40 miles.
The maximum temperature so far today is 33F degrees, this is 2
degrees below the normal high of 35F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 24F degrees, this is 4 degrees above the normal
low of 20F.
