CONTINUED WARMER THAN NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND RAIN….
The temperatures at Blue Hill continued to be warmer
than normal today with a maximum of 41F by the 1:00
P.M. EST observation, which is 7F above the normal
maximum temperature for this day of 34F. The minimum
temperature overnight only went down to 36F, or 18F
above the normal minimum. Precipitation also began to
fall early this morning, giving us a total of 0.23 ins.
so far today. Winds were light throughout the morning
until they began to pick up slightly in the afternoon
with a shift to the northeast. Yesterday was more
blustery, as there was a peak gust of 29 MPH out of
the southwest at 11:23 A.M. Pressure is also continuing
to drop, as it has decreased by over 5 millibars since
the morning.
