CHILLY WITH A CONSISTENT WESTERLY WIND
FOLLOWING THE COLD FRONT….

Today we observed 75 miles of visibility, and daytime temperatures
were actually colder than normal despite abundant afternoon sunshine.
The weather was also dry, as the dew point is currently in the
single digits. The biggest weather feature today has to be the wind.
We are seeing a consistent 20 mph from the west, with frequent gusts
above 30 mph this afternoon. The max gust as of yet is 40 mph. With
that being said, a cool and dry air mass is dominating the region
after a cold front passed through yesterday.

The high temperature so far today is 29F, this is 5 degrees
below the daily normal maximum of 34F. The low since midnight
is 25F, which is 8 degrees above the normal minimum of 17F.
