CLOUD COVER INCREASING AHEAD OF NEXT STORM….

We began the morning here with a beautiful sunrise, with just some mid
and high level clouds dotting the sky. Since then, the clouds have filled
in nicely, providing us with some filtered sunshine.

Temperatures are seasonable today, with a low in the upper teens and a
high so far in the mid 30s. The dew point has changed little, holding
in the mid to upper teens through the 1pm observation.

Winds have quieted down from yesterday, and are now averaging only 10mph
out of the west-northwest. The peak gust occurred just after 2:15am, with
a speed of 23mph.

Visibility has been decent, increasing from 40 to 70 miles as the day
has progressed.

The maximum temperature for today is 34F degrees, which is 2 degrees
below the normal high of 36F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 19F degrees, which is 1 degree above the normal low of 18F.
