CLOUDS GIVE WAY TO SOME MUCH WELCOMED SUNSHINE….

Sunshine has certainly been a luxury these past few days. Though
the morning began gray yet again due to a stratocumulus cloud deck
in place, this has broken up and moved off to the south by early
afternoon, allowing us to finally enjoy some rays.

Temperatures were slow to climb this morning under the cloud cover
and with northerly flow. It began in the mid 20s, and has since made
it to the mid 30s, giving a seasonable feel. The dew point has changed
little, and is holding in the low 20s.

Though the winds have not been particularly strong, they have been
consistent. We are currently at an average speed of 10mph, with a
peak gust of around 25mph a touch after 8:30am.

Visibility has been improving as the day goes on, rising from 40
miles this morning to 60 miles by afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 35F degrees, which is
equal to the normal high of 35F. The minimum temperature
so far since midnight is 26F degrees, which is 8 degrees above
the normal low of 18F.
