COLD CLOUDY DAY WITH LIGHT WIND…

Today has been cold and cloudy with light wind which has decreased
to as low as 2 mph before the 1 o’clock observation. Ice glaze over
the wind instruments yesterday caused them to stop working, minimizing
the amount of accurate information we read today to only a few
instruments. The low since midnight today was 9F which is 13 degrees
below our normal average of 22F. Our max temperature so far today was
18F, which is 21 degrees below our normal maximum of 34F. Visibility
was consistently between 60 and 70 miles for a majority of the day,
but continues to decrease since the 1 o’clock observation at about
30 miles currently in all directions.
