OVERCAST SKIES WITH SOME EXCELLENT VISIBILITY….
We observed great visibility as a dry and cold airmass from
the north continues to dominate the region. An average of
85 miles could be seen, with 90 miles being seen at the
10 A.M. observation. Skies are overcast with a thin cirrus
layer, allowing for some muffled sunshine. Wind is on the
lighter side, allowing for easy viewing of the mountains
in western Massachusetts and southwestern New Hampshire.
The high so far today is 25F, 11 degrees below the daily
average max of 36F. The low since midnight is 15F, 3 degrees
below the normal minimum of 18F.
