EARLY MORNING SNOW AND COOL TEMPERATURES

2.9 inches of snow fell at Blue Hill this morning, ending shortly after
7:00 A.M. EST. The temperature rose to 26F around 10:00 A.M., but it fell
to 19F by the 1:00 P.M. observation. Skies remained covered by stratus
clouds. Visibility was poor, especially in the later morning when it was
just 2 miles because of fog. Pressure slowly fell throughout the day.
