ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL SEASONABLE DAY ON BLUE HILL TODAY….
Today has been a near carbon copy of yesterday, though
slightly cooler and less clouds overhead. We have enjoyed
another day of brilliant sunshine and lower dew points
making for another exceptional day to be out and about.
For much of the day we had mostly clear skies with the
exception of some distant altocumulus offshore. By the
afternoon, some altocumulus clouds could be seen in the
west and southeast quadrants.
Temperatures have been seasonable for another day, with a
high so far one degree above normal. Our overnight low was
60F and slowly increased as the clear skies and sun persisted.
Dew points have remained in the mid 50s throughout the day
making it for another comfortable day humidity-wise.
The wind has been light again for the day, with a general
flow out of the southeast and south-southwest. The average
speed for the day so far is only around 7mph. The peak gust
so far for the day is just 12mph, which occurred just before
6am this morning.
Visibility has been in the 30-40 mile range throughout the day.
The maximum temperature so far today is 82F degrees, which is
1 degree above the normal high of 81F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 60F degrees, which is 4 degrees below the
normal low of 64F.
