WINDY WITH PERIODS OF RAIN….

Rain began here mid morning, with the intensity being rather light.
The storm total precipitation so far is 0.37″, which will certainly
aid in reducing our rainfall deficit for the month. A lull in the rainfall
began around 10:30am, lasting until 12:30pm.

Temperatures have been stable, holding in the mid to upper 50s all day.
Though it may feel chilly compared to our recent warm stretch, this is
only slightly below climatology in terms of high temperature.

Winds picked up last night, and have remained elevated over the past
several hours. The average speed so far is 19mph, mostly out of the
south-southwest. Gusts have frequented the 30-40mph range, with a peak
gust of 41mph occurring 3 separate times.

Visibility remains poor due to fog and low clouds. Views have ranged from
1/16 to 10 miles.

The maximum temperature for today is 59F degrees, which is 2 degrees
below the normal high of 61F. The minimum temperature since midnight is
56F degrees, which is 14 degrees above the normal low of 42F.
