COOL AND MOSTLY SUNNY WITH A FEW HIGH AND LOW CLOUDS…

It was another chilly morning on the summit with a low
temperature of 35 deg F in the early hours of the day.
There were only a few thin cirrus early this morning,
though a few low clouds formed during the morning. The
wind has been increasing during the day with gusts
reaching 29 mph as of early afternoon with the wind
direction mainly from the NW-NNW. The temperature has
climbed above the normal high in the upper 50s by early
afternoon, so today will be close to average or a little
warmer after three very cold days for mid-April. With a
dew point in the upper 20s this afternoon, the relative
humidity has also dropped under 30%. Visibility remains
moderate, climbing from 30 miles earlier to near 50 miles
at the early afternoon observation.
