OVERCAST WITH RAIN THIS MORNING, TURNING MILD THIS AFTERNOON…

Periods of rain moved through the region overnight through
this morning associated with a warm front that finally pushed
through mid to late morning. Temperatures, which were in the
upper 30s/near 40 all night, finally pushed into the mid 50s
by late this morning. The dew point has also risen into the
mid 50s, making it feel a bit on the humid side today.

Rainfall amounted to 0.14″ through the 7am observation, with
an additional 0.35″ falling between 7am and 1pm. A brief period
of sleet was also recorded last evening.

The wind was generally light southerly early this morning,
but quickly ramped up post warm frontal passage. Gusts over
30mph has been occurring this afternoon.

The high temperature so far today is 56F, which is 6 degrees
above the normal maximum temperature for today of 50F. The low
since midnight is 39F, which is 7 degrees above our normal
minimum temperature of 32F.
