TEMPERATURES START OUT AT 47F OR TEN DEGREES BELOW NORMAL
UNLIMITED VISIBILITY REPORTED UP TO 90 MILES
High cirrus clouds were becoming quite dense by early afternoon
and dimming the bright sunshine. High temperatures were struggling
to reach 70 degrees with the normal high still at 74 degrees.
Our low temperature of 47F was 10 degrees below the normal of
57 degrees and was just one degree above our coolest so far
this season of 46F.
Visibility today was our maximum reportable value of 90 miles but
judging by the clarity of the distant mountains visibility could
be up to 100 miles. Mt. Washington has reported 130 miles today,
their highest reportable value.
