OVERCAST AND WARM THIS MORNING, TURNING WET AND COOLER BY NOON….
We started the day warm and humid under overcast skies. The
temperature was able to make it to 75F degrees before a sneaky
front sagged southward across the area. The wind shifted from
S to NE between 9-10am this morning.
Rain began falling around 9:30am, this along with the wind shift
to the northeast allowed temperatures to fall into the mid-
upper 60s by early afternoon.
Through the 1pm observation 0.32″ of rain had been measured.
Visibility has been limited all day of course starting the day
around 30 miles, dropping to 1/4 mile with the rain and fog.
The high so far today is 75F, which is 2 degrees below the
normal maximum of 77F. The low since midnight is 65F, which is
6 degrees above the normal minimum of 59F.
