CLOUDS INCREASING, BUT PLEASANTLY DRY AND MILD AIR….
Plenty of sunshine this morning has given way to increasing clouds
as a weak disturbance moves through the region today. A few showers
are showing up on radar, but the trend has been for it to dry up
as it moves toward coastal Massachusetts, nonetheless, a few
sprinkles have managed to fall here on the summit between 12-1 P.M.
Wind has been generally on the light side today averaging around
10 mph. A few gusts have reached upwards to 20 mph.
Visibility has been decreasing as would be expected with a band of
showers moving in from the west. We started the day being able to
see around 70 miles, but has decreased to around 50 miles early
this afternoon.
The high so far today is 72F, 4 degrees above the normal max of
68F. The low since midnight is 52F, 1 degree above the
normal low of 51F.
