DRIZZLE AND FOG THIS MORNING LIFTED, BUT SKIES REMAIN OVERCAST….

Clouds are once again ruling the sky locally today while
sunshine is being observed not too far away to the north of the
hill. So far we’ve yet to see even any dim sunshine as the low
clouds are hanging tough. Drizzle and fog overnight continued
into early this morning before lifting during the mid morning
hours. We did manage to pick up 0.09″ of rain overnight as a
few “heavier” rain showers moved through last evening. Another
0.01″ was measured between 7am and 10am this morning from
drizzle.

Temperatures have been held down thus far due to the overcast
skies. The high so far is only 71F degrees!

The dew point has been on the rise all day with readings reaching
the upper 60s by early this afternoon. As such, it feels pretty
humid out there today.

The wind has been quite light (almost non-existent at times) today
with an average speed only around 7mph and a peak of only 14mph
which occurred around midnight!

Visibility has been gradually increasing as the day progresses.
It was as low as 1/16th of a mile this morning, but has improved
to around 60 miles this afternoon despite the humid airmass in
place.

The high so far today is 71F, which is 3 degrees below the
normal maximum of 74F. The low since midnight is 62F, which is
5 degrees above the normal minimum of 57F.
