Today is another spectacular fall day here at Blue Hill. A mix
of sun and various types of clouds have been the theme today
with a cool southwest breeze.
The temperature started the day in the mid 40s, and has only
rebounded to just over 60 early this afternoon. This is actually
3 degrees below normal for the date. The dew point is on the low
side with readings holding in low 40s.
The wind has been brisk out of mainly a southwesterly direction.
The average speed so far has been around 10mph with frequent
gusts over 20mph. The peak gust so far is around 24mph.
Visibility is excellent today with views of around 80 miles
all day. Absolutely spectacular!
The maximum temperature so far today has been 61F, which is 3
degrees below the normal high of 64F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 44F, which is 3 degrees below the normal low
of 47F.
