DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2019
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
WARM, HUMID, AND WINDY TODAY….
A warm humid airmass has returned to Blue Hill after the
cool and dry conditions of the past few days. Temperatures
this afternoon have risen into the mid 70s with a dew point
in the upper 50s.
The big story today has been the wind. South-southwest
wind has peaked so far at 47mph officially, although ASOS is
reporting a peak gust of 50mph.
Visibility isn’t stellar today thanks to the higher humidity
with 30 miles being the theme all day.
The high so far today is 76F, which is 13 degrees above the
normal high of 63F. The low this morning was a toasty 65F,
which is 19 degrees above the daily normal minimum of 46F.
