COOL AND WET TO START THE NEW WORK HERE AT BLUE HILL….
Clouds have been socked in since yesterday along with periods of
rain and gusty winds off the ocean. Rainfall has amounted to a
total of 0.94″, 0.79″ of which was measured upto 7 A.M. this
morning, and another 0.15″ between 7 A.M. and 1 P.M.
Adding to the wet conditions, temperatures settled into the
mid-upper 50s overnight and haven’t moved from those values.
A gusty east wind just adds to the chill. Speeds have been
averaging between 10-15mph with gusts over 20mph. A peak gust
of 30mph has occurred so far.
The high so far today is 58F, a 8 degrees below the normal
max of 66F. The low since midnight is 54F, 5 degrees above
the normal low of 49F.
