ONCE AGAIN OVERCAST AND COOL WITH A GUSTY ONSHORE WIND….

Clouds have been the theme again today as we’re stuck between
high pressure to the north and low pressure to the south.
The gradient between these two features has been the reason
for the continuation of the gusty winds.

The average wind speed so far today has been around 18mph. A
peak gust of 41mph was measured this morning, however frequent
gusts of 30-35mph have been observed all day.

Temperatures have been holding in the low/mid 50s all day.
The dew point has been slowly creeping up from the mid, to
the upper 30s, adding a decided chill to the air.

Visibility decreased from 70 miles early this morning to around
50 miles for the balance of the day.

The high so far today is 54F, which is 12 degrees below the
normal maximum of 66F. The low since midnight is 49F, which is
equal to the normal minimum of 49F.
