RAIN THIS MORNING FOLLOWED BY SOME THUNDER OBSERVED
IN THE AFTERNOON….

Rainfall this morning left 0.31 inches in the gauge by the
1 P.M. observation. We also measured .08 inches from last
night’s showers. Visibility was reduced to a 1/2 mile this
morning due to fog, but improved to 30 miles by 10 A.M.
Winds have strengthened with a shift from E-W, with a peak
gust so far of 30 MPH (26 kts) occurring at 11:58 A.M.
Thunder was heard shortly after noontime, however no lightning
was seen by the observer. The high so far today is 55F,
which is a degree below the daily normal of 56F. The low since
midnight is 44F, 5 degrees above the normal minimum of 39F.
