DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
MONDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2019
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

CLOUDS PERSIST WITH OCCASIONAL DRIZZLE…

Yesterday’s heavy rain event left 1.43″ of rain in our
gauge here at Blue Hill. Today we are stuck with clouds
and occasional drizzle which has amounted to 0.02″ through
1 P.M. this afternoon. While there have been some attempts
at getting some sun to break through the clouds, it has
been rather unsuccessful as the onshore flow assures plenty
of low level moisture persists.

Winds have been quite light today after being rather busy
yesterday. Peak gust yesterday was 37 MPH out of the ESE
at 2:51 P.M.

Temperatures remain on the chilly side with the high so far
today being 53 degrees, which is 3 degrees below the daily
normal maximum of 56F. The low since midnight is 46F, 7
degrees above the normal low of 39F.
