SHARP TEMPERATURE INVERSION DEVELOPED OVERNIGHT LAST NIGHT
NOT QUITE AS COLD THIS MORNING AS PREVIOUS MORNINGS HERE AT SUMMIT
LOTS OF SUNSHINE AND TEMPERATURES RISING WELL INTO 50’S TODAY
INCREASINGLY GUSTY WSW-W WINDS PAST 30 MPH BY AFTERNOON

The low temperature was a frosty 22 degrees at Norwood Airport
this morning and 25 degrees at Taunton Airport while here at the
summit our minimum was 35 degrees.  So, our coldest for the season
remains the 34F recorded Friday and Saturday morning.  The average
date of the first 32-degree reading here at the summit is October 20.

Lots of sunshine today and slightly milder than yesterday as our
maximum temperature has reached 58F by early this afternoon as
compared to 55F yesterday. Winds are becoming quite gusty from
the WSW-W up to 30 to 34 MPH by 2 P.M. EDT.
