MAINLY CLOUDY AND COOL ONCE AGAIN WITH SCATTERED RAIN SHOWERS…

Clouds are once again hanging around today. Any sun has been
brief and far between so far today. Scattered rain showers
moved through early this morning, however more showers have
developed late this morning and early this afternoon with
a few coming through just before the 1pm observation. 0.04″
of rain was left in the gauge early this morning, with only
an additional trace so far since then.

Temperatures are again on the chilly side with readings only
reaching the mid to upper 50s. The dew point has been holding
in the mid 40s. With the abundant cloud cover and dampness in
the air, it does feel a bit raw out there.

The wind has been generally on the light side most of the day
with an average speed so far of around 8mph. Our peak gust so
far is around 17mph, occurring just before 5:30am this morning.

Visibility has been excellent today, except where rain showers
are passing by in the distance. The view has ranged between
60-70 miles for the most part, all in all a very good view
today from the tower roof!

The maximum temperature so far today has been 58F, which is 3
degrees below the normal high of 61F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 44F, which is equal to the normal low of 44F.
