ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
CLOUDY AND CHILLY WITH A TOUCH OF RAIN IN THE EARLY
AFTERNOON…
After a rather pleasant weekend, today we’ve been under
cloudy skies with a brisk and chilly east wind. A few
light rain showers have moved through early this
afternoon, hopefully a precursor to more substantial
rain later tonight and tomorrow.
After being in the 70s on Saturday, today feels quite
chilly with the temperature holding in the low 50s most
of the day. An east wind gusting 25-30 mph at times off
the ocean has only added to the chill.
Visibility has been gradually decreasing as the day
moves along with a moistening atmosphere. We started
the day observing 60 miles, but has lowered to 35 miles
by early this afternoon.
The high so far today is 52, 10 degrees below the daily
normal of 62F. The low since midnight is 48F, which is
4 degrees above the normal low of 44F.
