ABUNDANT SUNSHINE WITH SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES AND A BRISK WIND….

Today has been a stellar day in terms of plenty of bright sunshine
and crystal clear air. The air is so clear today that we have a
perfect 90 miles of visibility.

Temperatures have been fairly seasonable for this time of year with
readings starting at the freezing mark early this morning and rising
to the upper 40s early this afternoon. The dew point has been gradually
rising as well from the low 20s to the upper 20s.

Winds continue to be busy, although there has been a very gradual
decline in speeds as the day progresses. The average speed for the day
so far is around 15mph, but as I mentioned, it’s on the way down.
Gusts were frequently getting to around 30mph early this morning,
but only into the 20-25mph range for the most part early this afternoon.
The peak gust for the day is 33mph, which occurred at 9:48 A.M.

Visibility, as mentioned above, has been near perfect to perfect all
day. The view was 80 miles early this morning, but quickly improved to
90 miles for the balance of the day.

The maximum temperature for today is 48F degrees, which is 1 degree
above the normal high of 47F. The minimum temperature since midnight is
32F degrees, which is 1 degree above the normal low of 31F.
