OVERCAST START TO THE DAY GAVE WAY TO A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS,
MILDER TEMPERATURES….

We started the day with a lot of cloud cover, but they quickly
moved offshore leaving us with plenty of sunshine. Some diurnal
clouds have developed with the heating of the day adding a
decorative look to the sky early this afternoon.

Temperatures are more mild today than they have been the past
couple of days. Readings have reached the upper 40s early this
afternoon which feels nice compared to the coldish start to the
day this morning. Although the wind has become gusty which is
creating a bit of a wind chill. Dew point values have been
holding generally in the low to mid 30s through the day to this
point.

The wind started off the day on the lighter side, but has been
gradually increasing through the morning into early this
afternoon. The average speed for the day so far of around 11mph.
Gusts have been frequently exceeding 20mph since about mid
morning. The peak gust for the day so far is 30mph, which
occurred just after 10am this morning.

Visibility is quite decent today, generally holding in the 60-70
mile range so far for the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 49F degrees, which is
2 degrees above the normal high of 47F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 33F degrees, which is 2 degrees above the
normal low of 31F.
