DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY

ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
FIRST OBSERVED SNOW OF THE SEASON FALLS THIS MORNING,
WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH 10PM TONIGHT
Scattered stratus clouds brought us the first observed snow fall
during the 7:00AM observation this morning. Warming temperatures
had melted the trace accumulation by 1:00PM. Low pressure moved
northward, helping our station pressures to increase through the
early afternoon.
Cold conditions continue today. Temperatures dropped to an overnight
low of 28F and had only rebounded to a max. of 36F by 1:00PM. A wind
advisory also continues for Southern New England through 10:00PM this
evening. Winds were gusting up to 40 MPH out of the WSW-W.
