MUCH COOLER, BREEZY, AND BEAUTIFUL TODAY….
Today has been much cooler than yesterday, with temperatures barely
reaching 65F. Clear skies have been observed today, with a thin
layer of smoke aloft moving into the area during the late morning
hours. A few cirrus clouds have been observed to our south.
The wind has been rather gusty today, blowing generally from the
ENE. Gusts were frequently above 30mph this morning and have tapered
off a bit but still reaching in the 20’s. The average speed for the
day so far is around 15mph.
Visibility has remained between 40 and 50 miles today, due to the
hazy conditions that have been steady throughout the day.
The maximum temperature so far today is 65F, which is 5F below
the normal high of 70F. The minimum temperature so far since
midnight is 58F, which is 6 degrees above the normal low of 52F.
