A MIX OF SUN AND HIGH CLOUDS WITH AN INCREASING WARM BREEZE…

Sunshine has been the theme most of the day with only some high
thin cirrus clouds moving across the sky. There was a period
late this morning when the cloud cover was thick enough to
block the sun. Despite that, it’s been a rather nice day with
the temperature reaching the low 70s early this afternoon after
a chilly start this morning.

The wind has been picking up this afternoon, after being on the
light side this morning. Speeds have increased to 10-15mph with
gusts around 25-30mph. The average speed for the day so far is
around 10mph. Wind direction has been gradually backing from
the north-northwest to west.

Visibility has been 55-65 miles today with some haziness out
there thanks to the pollen in the air.

The high so far today was 72F, which is 5 degrees above our
normal max temperature of 67F. Our low since midnight was 45F,
which is  3 degrees below our normal low temperature of 48F.
