A BIT OF SUNSHINE EARLY THIS MORNING GIVES WAY TO CLOUDS, DRIZZLE,
AND FOG BY EARLY THIS AFTERNOON…

We managed to get a little bit of sunshine early this morning
before a low deck of clouds overspread the area from the ocean.
Drizzle and fog has since followed, beginning just after noon-time.

Temperatures are still milder than normal for early March, but not
quite as mild as they were yesterday. Readings today have been held
in the 40s thanks to the clouds and onshore flow.

Winds have been fairly steady, but not overly impressive with the
onshore flow averaging at around 9mph. The peak gust for the day
so far is around 22mph, occurring just before 8am this morning.

Visibility was around 40 miles early this morning, but has been
gradually diminishing as the low clouds and fog have spread across
the area. The view was down to only 1.5 miles by the 1pm
observation in drizzle and fog.

The maximum temperature so far today is 49F degrees, which is 8
degrees above the normal high of 41F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 43F degrees, which is 20 degrees above the normal low
of 23F.
