MILD WITH PLENTY OF SUNSHINE THIS MORNING, THEN INCREASING CLOUDS…

The day started off with a spectacular sunrise with clear skies
and a gentle west-northwesterly breeze. Sunshine was the theme
until around early afternoon, after which clouds rapidly moved
in and thickened ahead of our next storm system.

Temperatures were mild into the mid afternoon hours with readings
reaching the upper 50s. However the wind shifted to off the
ocean and temperatures then of course fell off back into the
upper 40s.

The wind was quite light morning into early this afternoon, even
going calm at times. Speed did increase noticeably once becoming
onshore. The average speed for the day thus far is only around
7mph.

Visibility has been excellent most of the day, hanging around
75-80 miles.

The high temperature so far today was 58F, 10 degrees above the
normal maximum temperature for today of 48F. The low since
midnight so far is 35F, 5 degrees above our normal minimum
temperature of 30F.
