A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS TODAY, SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES BUT VERY
WINDY…

Just a note; Here at BHO we do not use DST, thus all times within
our discussions will continue to be in EST. We do this for continuity
purposes, as well as to keep our record keeping/reporting simplified.

Today has featured a mix of sun and clouds after an area of very
light snow moved through the region during the pre-dawn hours. Only
a trace of snow was recorded, but marks the first flakes to fly so
far in March.

Temperatures have been seasonable with readings in the low 40s,
however the dew point has been in the upper teens to low 20s. The
dry air mass is making it feel quite a bit colder than it is.

Also adding to the chill are the very gusty winds. West-northwest
to northwest winds have been averaging around 21mph for the day
so far. Frequent gusts of 40-50mph have been occurring since the
mid-late morning hours. The peak gust so far for today is 53mph,
occurring just after 11am this morning.

Visibility has been excellent all day with a view of 80 miles!

The maximum temperature so far today is 43F degrees, which is
1 degree above the normal high of 42F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 30F degrees, which is 5 degrees above the normal
low of 25F.
