STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS AND SHOWERS ENTER THE REGION

Southerly winds have stayed steady this morning at
15 to 20 knots, occasionally gusting to near 30 knots.
An overnight low of 50F quickly jumped into the 60s
this morning, as temperature topped out at 69F by
the 1:00 PM EST observation.

Rain showers which began at 10:28 AM EST this morning,
were light and intermittent for roughly an hour or so
totaling just a trace. Winds have stayed gusty by the
1:00 PM EST observation, with the RM Young anemometer
recording a peak gust of 38 MPH so far.
