DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
MONDAY, JUNE 22, 2015
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
1.19 INCHES FALL FROM REMNANTS OF BILL,
HUMIDITY AND FOG LINGERS
Rain came to an end yesterday in the early afternoon, bringing
the final storm total to 1.19 inches of rain. This new rain has
erased the monthly deficit for June; however, the deficit for the
year remains at more than 3 inches.
Dense fog moved out after sunrise this morning, revealing mostly
hazy and humid conditions. Clouds were quick to build in along
the coast and Great Blue Hill was caught between a sea breeze and
inland influence.
By the 1:00 PM EST observation partly cloudy conditions
were present, with a few moderate cumulus visible ESE
and N of the station. Clouds have had some difficulty
increasing to a towering stature as temperatures rose
to a maximum of 83F.
