MORNING CLOUDS AND FOG BURN OFF TO MAINLY SUNNY SKIES….

We started the day with very limited visibility, as low as 1/16th
of a mile. The clouds and fog fairly quickly burned off with
sunshine breaking through by the mid morning hours. All in all
it’s a rather nice day out there today.

Temperatures are getting closer to normal today with readings
getting into the low 70s early this afternoon. Dew point readings
have been holding in the mid-upper 50s, as such there is a bit of
a humid feel to the air.

Winds have been on the light side again today, mainly out east.
The average speed so far today is only around 6mph. The peak gust
so far is 16mph, which occurred just before 11:00am this morning.

As mentioned, the visibility was very limited this morning,
varying between 1/16th of a mile up to 1 mile. As the fog burned
off, the view improved markedly up to 30-35 miles, however that’s
been the best we’ve seen due to haziness.

The maximum temperature for today is 72F degrees, which is 4
degrees below the normal high of 76F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 52F degrees, which is 6 degrees below the
normal low of 58F.
