MUCH COOLER WITH RAIN SHOWERS TODAY…

Clouds rolled in early this morning and rain showers
soon followed. It actually turned out to be quite a
wet morning into early afternoon. 0.37″ of rain has
been measured through 1 P.M. this afternoon.

Due to the clouds and rain, temperatures have been
held on the cooler side with the high so far only
reaching the low-mid 60s.

Winds have been mainly south today, although a period
of west winds did precede the line of showers, and then
it shifted to the southeast for a time during the
showers, before settling back to the south. The speeds
have been mainly on the light side with an average of
around 10mph since 7 A.M. The peak gust so far today
has been 28mph.

The high so far today is 63F, which is 12 degrees below
the normal high of 75F. The low since midnight is 56F,
which is 1 degree below the daily normal low of 57F.
