MORE CLOUDS AND SUN, BUT WARM AND HUMID WITH HAZY CONDITIONS….

Today the sky has featured more clouds than sun, but there has
been enough sunshine to boost temperatures in the upper 70s to
low 80s across the area. The dew point has been in the low to
mid 60s as well today, thus it feels rather humid out there
today. Definitely much more indicative of mid June weatherwise
than we’ve seen in recent weeks.

The wind was fairly light this morning, but has picked up a bit
this afternoon thanks to some mixing from aloft and an increasing
pressure gradient. The wind has been mainly out of the south to
south-southwest today with an average speed of around 11mph. The
peak gust so far for the day is around 26mph.

Visibility has been limited all day due to general haziness. We
have only been able to see 9-10 miles all day!

The high temperature so far today is 79F, this is 5 degrees above
the normal maximum of 74F. The low since midnight is 60F, this is
3 degrees above the normal minimum of 57F.
