SPECTACULAR EARLY SUMMER DAY IN PROGRESS AT BLUE HILL….

Skies were clear this morning, but cumulus clouds developed
giving us a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon, as diurnal
processes are in full swing with the daytime heating.

Temperature and humidity levels are quite comfortable with
readings near seasonal norms for today’s date. The
temperature has reached the low to mid 70s early this
afternoon, and the dew point has been holding in the low to
mid 50s all day. This is indicative of a very delightful
air-mass in place for this time of year.

Winds have been fairly steady today, averaging around 10mph
out of the west. The peak gust for the day so far is 21mph
which occurred just before 6am this morning.

Visibility has been excellent all day holding between 60-70
miles. Absolutely spectacular considering the time of year!

The maximum temperature so far today is 74F degrees, which is
equal to the normal high of 74F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 54F degrees, which is 2 degrees below the normal
low of 56F.
