HEAT AND HUMIDITY BEGIN TO BUILD INTO THE REGION

Dry conditions are in place since a trace of rain
fell on July the 4th. Haze and a thin layer of
smoke have reduced visibility significantly, with
a visibility of just 10 miles at this morning’s
7:00 AM EST observation.

By the 1:00 PM EST observation visibility had only
increased to just 15 miles in all directions with hazy
conditions in place. A maximum temperature of 85F
had been recorded by this time as well.
