MORE CLOUDS THAN SUN TODAY, BUT STILL WARM AND INCREASINGLY HUMID…

Mainly high clouds are dominating the ski today, however the
cirrus is thick enough that it’s filtering the sun quite a
bit. Despite this, the temperature has made it to the mid 80s
here on the summit early this afternoon.

The dew point has also been on the rise with a south-southwest
wind helping to transport the low level moisture back into
the region. Values have risen from the low 60s early this
morning to the upper 60s this afternoon, as such, the sticky
feel has returned to the air.

The wind has once again been mainly on the light side today,
which just seems to be the theme this year so far. The average
speed for the day so far is only around 9mph.

Visibility has been limited thanks to hazy conditions increasing
with the higher moisture content in the air. We started the day
being able to see around 30 miles, but has since decreased to
only around 20 miles as we approached the afternoon hours.

The maximum temperature so far today is 85F, this is 3 degrees
above the normal high of 82F. The minimum temperature today is
67F, which is 3 degrees above the normal low of 64F.
