AFTERNOON SHOWERS….
Partly cloudy skies this morning became overcast
as the day went on. Showers after noontime left
0.05 inches in the gauge by the 1 P.M. observation.
Visibility was limited by either fog or haze, with
a maximum visibility of 40 miles being seen at 7 A.M.
Temperatures have dropped from 80F at 10 A.M. to
69F at noon. The high so far today is 81F, which
is the same as the average daily maximum. The low
since midnight is 69F, 6 degrees above the daily
normal minimum of 63F.
The minimum temperature on the 20th of 75F broke the
previous record high minimum temperature for the date
of 73F set in 1977 and 2015. The minimum temperature
on the 21st of 76F broke the previous record high
minimum temperature for the date of 75F set in 1991.
The high temperatures on 20th and 21st of 93F and 92F
were well below the record highs for those dates of
99F and 100F.
