CHILLY AIR MASS CONTINUES WITH GRADUALLY DIMINISHING WIND….
After a couple of days of gusty winds, they are finally
diminishing. Today winds have been gusting between 20-25 mph
compared to 40+ mph over the weekend.
Despite the temperature getting a bit higher today than
yesterday, the air mass is still of an arctic nature with
dew points holding in the mid single digits. This does tend
to add a bit of a bite to the air, especially with the
breeze blowing.
Visibility has been excellent today rising from 60 miles
early this morning to 80 miles into this afternoon.
The high temperature so far today is 34F, this is equal to the
daily normal maximum of 34F. The low since midnight is 15F,
which is 2 degrees below the normal minimum of 17F.
