MOSTLY SUNNY AND BREEZY FOR PRESIDENTS’ DAY….
Though we began with some stratocumulus clouds in place this morning,
these quickly dissipated and moved offshore to provide mostly clear
skies. It is a great day to get outside and enjoy the sunshine!
Temperatures began in the mid 20s and quickly rose into the mid 30s
by early afternoon. The dew point has remained in the mid to upper
teens throughout the day.
There has been a steady and noticeable breeze, with wind speeds averaging
around 12mph to this point. Our peak gust thus far is around 28mph,
occurring just after 9am.
Visibility has been great all day today, ranging from 60-80 miles, allowing
us to see all the way to Mount Monadnock!
The maximum temperature so far today is 36F degrees, which is 2
degrees below the normal high of 38F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 26F degrees, which is 6 degrees above the normal
low of 20F.
