A RATHER PLEASANT DAY TODAY AHEAD OF A STORMY TUESDAY….

Not a bad day today at all with sunshine being the theme today,
only being filtered at times through some high thin clouds.
Temperatures are once again above normal for this time of year
as readings have once again reached the mid 40s, almost 10F
degrees above normal! Definitely a nice day for any outdoor
chores or work, especially for February standards.

Adding to the comfort of the day has been the generally light
wind. It’s been averaging generally between 5-10mph most of
the day. The wind has been backing from the north-northwest and
northwest more to the west as we reached the early afternoon
hours. The peak gust so far for the day is only around 17mph,
which occurred just after 1am this morning.

Visibility started the day at 70 miles, but has eased back to
around 60 miles by late this morning and early this afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 45F degrees, which is
9 degrees above the normal high of 36F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 29F degrees, which is 10 degrees above the
normal low of 19F.
