INCREASING AMOUNTS OF CLOUDINESS TODAY, BUT GETTING CLOSER TO NORMAL
TEMPERATURES….

Today started with plenty of sunshine, however low and mid level
clouds increased as we pushed into the late morning hours, leaving
us with mainly cloudy skies by early this afternoon.

The good news is that temperatures did get a touch milder today,
getting closer to, but still shy of normal levels. Readings reached
the low to mid 30s late this morning, but are now falling off a bit
back to around 30 by the 1pm observation. Dew point values however
have dropped into the mid teens, so the air is feeling colder due to
the dryness.

Adding to the chill is also the increasing wind speed. A west-
northwest wind has been averaging around 11mph so far for the day.
Gusts started to exceed 20mph as we got into the late morning and
early afternoon hours. The peak gust so far is 25mph, which occurred
right after 1pm.

Visibility has been decent, generally ranging between 40-50 miles
for the day.

The maximum temperature for today is 33F degrees, which is 3 degrees
below the normal high of 36F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 19F degrees, which is equal to the normal low of 19F.
