ANOTHER CHILLY DAY, YET MILDER….
Today is milder than the days prior, with temperatures
making their way into the mid 30’s. Skies have a thin
layer of upper-level clouds, and sunshine is abundant.
Visibility is much better, reaching 85 miles by the
1 P.M. observation. Wind is a little under 10 mph on
average from the west with a max gust of 22 mph earlier
this morning.
The ponds are mostly frozen at this point, with Houghton’s
still not having complete ice cover.
The high so far today is only 25F, which is 13 degrees below the
normal maximum of 38F. The low since midnight is 15F, which
is 7 degrees below the normal minimum of 22F.
