ONCE AGAIN CHILLY AND BRISK UNDER A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS….

Not much going on again today. The morning started off clear
with only a few distant clouds. However these clouds have
increased in coverage this afternoon giving us an interplay
of sun and clouds. Temperatures, which started the day in the
mid 20s, have risen close to 15 degrees to the upper 30s early
this afternoon. With a brisk west-northwest wind, the wind
chill has been frequently in the mid to upper 20s early this
afternoon. So it definitely feels chilly out there today.

Average wind speed for the day so far is around 16mph with
frequent gusts between 30-40mph.

Visibility started off a bit limited at only around 30 miles,
but it has increased markedly early this afternoon, reaching
80 miles by the 1pm observation.

The high so far today is 39F, which is equal to the normal
maximum of 39F. The low since midnight is 25F, which is 1
degree above the normal minimum of 24F.
