WARMER AND MORE HUMID WEATHER RETURNS….
Today marks the 3rd day in a row that has again featured a lot of
cloud cover. However warmer and more humid air has returned to the
region with temperatures getting back into the low to mid 80s.
Humidity levels have returned to uncomfortable levels as the dew
point has risen from the upper 60s this morning to the low 70s this
afternoon.
Some saving grace has been the wind. A South to southwest wind has
been busy today averaging around 10-15mph since early this morning.
Frequent gusts of 20-25mph have been observed.
Visibility has been limited today thanks to the increase in moisture
in the air. Values have been hanging between 20-30 miles.
The high so far today is 84F, this is 6 degrees above the daily
normal maximum of 78F. The low so far today is 67F, which is 6
degrees above the daily normal minimum of 61F.
