FILTERED SUNSHINE, WARM, AND A BIT HUMID TODAY AT BLUE HILL…
While there has been a decent amount of cloud cover today,
it’s been mainly of the mid and high level varieties, thus
a decent amount of filtered sunshine has still been observed.
Temperatures have warmed into the low 80s this afternoon, which
is close to normal for mid August. The dew point has been
creeping up into the low 60s, so it does feel a bit humid out
there this afternoon.
The wind has been mainly on the light side, but fairly steady
averaging at around 10mph. The highest gust so far today has
been around 23mph.
Visibility has been excellent all day holding at a remarkable
(for this time of year) 80 miles!
The maximum temperature so far today has been 82F, which is 1
degree higher than our normal high for today of 81F. The
minimum temperature since midnight is 63F, which is equal to
the normal low of 63F.
